Me Raj Ramsaha holds a Bachelor and a Master’s Degree in Law from the University of Toulouse, France. After completing the Bar Vocational Examination, he was admitted to the Mauritian Bar in 1992 and has over 33 years of standing at the Bar. He has an extensive experience in civil and commercial litigation as well as in labour dispute and arbitration cases. He has regularly acted as Counsel before committees, tribunals and all Courts of Mauritius.
Me Raj Ramsaha has acted as legal advisor to numerous corporate and parastatal bodies including Mauritius College of the Air, Mauritius Meat Authority, National Transport Corporation (NTC), Municipal Council of Beau Bassin / Rose Hill, and has been providing consultancy services to a wide portfolio of local and international clients. He has also served as the Chairman of Motor Vehicle Insurance Arbitration Committee ((MVIAC) and has also served as a Municipal Councillor. He was appointed as an Independent Director of GFA Insurance Company Limited since 2018 and in May 2025 he has been appointed as the Chairperson of the Board of Directors.

Non-Executive, Non-Independent Director

Mr Birendranath Sowambur was appointed as an Independent Director of the company on 1st June, 2006. He is holder of several diplomas, namely in Occupational Health and Safety, Industrial Psychology and Personnel management. He reckons about twenty years experience in the field of Health and Safety. He has served both in public and private organisations. He attended various international conferences on occupational Health and Safety in Asian countries. He is presently working as Health and Safety officer at Toyota (Mauritius) Ltd.

Independent Director

Appointed as Independent Director on 13 May 2021, Mr Bruno Dumazel graduated as Géomètre Expert in 1988 (INST, Paris) and was commissioned to act as Sworn Land Surveyor in Mauritius since 1990. He holds a MBA from the University of Surrey (UK), and is currently preparing his Doctorate in Business Administration. He is a Listed E.I.A. Consultant with the Ministry of Environment, and acts as Property Development Consultant & Valuer for financial institutions. Mr Dumazel is a member of various professional bodies, namely The British Association of Project Managers (2000), the British Institute of Export, and The Mauritian Institute of Surveyors and Valuers (1990). He is also the Chairperson of the “Alliance Française de l’Ile Maurice” since 2000, and of “Good Living in Mauritius (Charitable Trust)” since 2015 Former Governor of the University of Technology of Mauritius (2006 to 2012), Mr Dumazel holds the academic title of “CHEVALIER des Palmes Académiques (République Française, 2004) and is a Non-Executive Director of Lycée La Bourdonnais since 1998.

Appointed on 29 July 2024, Harford Corporate Services Ltd is a secretarial service provider, whose principal and designated officer is Mohammad Shameer Mohuddy. Shameer is an independent law practitioner with more than 20 years of experience in the legal field. He was called to the Bar of England & Wales in 2000 by the Honourable Society of Inner Temple and by the Bar of Mauritius in 2003. He intervenes regularly on compliance related matters and interacts with regulatory bodies. He also sits as a Board member on a few regulated entities.

Anita has more than 20 years' experience in corporate services, administration and global business sector having worked in several positions in a number of offshore management companies. She is also an approved Money Laundering Reporting Officer by the Financial Services Commission.
